PROJECT ONE: COME ON REJOICE, is the first recording from Atland Music, Inc. Atland Music is a company based in the Woodstock, NY area. Woodstock has a rich history in music and the arts. Many well-known artists such as: Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Band and others have made this area home. Produced by Steve Atwood and Paul Grimsland, COME ON REJOICE, is a collection of praise and worship songs. Area musicians were assembled in the recording effort. Including, Juma Sultan, percussionist for Jimi Hendrix. Paul and Steve have a long history as friends and collaborators. In the late '80's and early '90's they were part of the band CONTENDER, which had a release called "Fighting To Win" on Refuge Records. Their desire in forming Atland Music is to produce music of different styles and genres that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ and brings the message of the Gospel in a relevant way to the world. "It is our desire that the songs on this recording cause people to worship Jesus, because He's worthy".
